Paraty is a destination that offers very diverse attractions, able to please the most demanding tourists. There are wonderful beaches and waterfalls, cultural and historical routes, ecotourism, adventure sports and, of course, an enviable gastronomic scene.

You will hardly be left with nothing to do while you are in the city. Believe me, an extended holiday will be little to get to know the region; so, book at least a week to enjoy one of the most charming and romantic destinations in Rio de Janeiro.
HISTORIC CENTER
Upon arriving in Paraty, you will certainly run to see the Historic Center. Be very careful. He is so passionate that you may even forget the beaches of the Costa Verde.
The walk through the cobblestone streets is a real journey through time. You will be transported to the 1800s, the date of the architecture of the blocks listed by IPHAN.
The center is full of parties, music, shops and restaurants. It is a tour for every day. And you will always find something different and special, especially when you allow yourself to enter the mansions, whether to choose a book, a work of art or just a colorful fabric made by local artisans.
BEACHES AND ISLANDS
As you overcome the charm of the Historic Center, it's time to get to know some of the more than 120 beaches and islands in shades of emerald that make up the bay of Paraty and its surroundings. They are beaches with a clear sea and a wonderful mix of green and blue, with pleasant temperature waters and full of life.
You may come across turtles, dolphins and, more rarely, even a few orcas.
Choose between boat trips, motorboat tours or car and trail itineraries. The way you arrive varies, but certainly the beauty will be common to all beaches.
Be sure to visit the wonderful beaches of Trindade, go for a swim with the fish in Ilha Comprida and Lagoa Azul, discover the charms of the Saco da Velha grotto, eat a fried fish by the sea in the Saco do Mamanguá and indulge yourself in the calm waters of Ilha da Cotia, Praia da Lula and Praia Vermelha. But as they are not the only local beauties, look for strips of sand along the entire Rio-Santos road. The indented coastline presents tourists with unforgettable scenes.
